Vintage 1951 Barr & Stroud CF5 6x Binoculars – Clear Optics (Serial #93070)

An authentic pair of vintage Barr & Stroud 6x CF5 binoculars, manufactured in Glasgow & London in 1951 (Serial No. 93070 stamped on the central hinge pin).  

Barr & Stroud were renowned British optical manufacturers, famous for supplying high-grade rangefinders and binoculars to the Royal Navy and Allied forces.

Details & Condition:

Optics: Lenses are intact, clear to view through, and aligned with crisp focus. Both front objective glass elements are fully present and secure.  

Mechanics: Center focus wheel turns smoothly.

Body: Classic mid-century condition with light patina on the textured casing and leather neck strap.  

Note on Bezel: Missing the outer screw-on plastic hood/rim on the right front objective barrel. The glass lens beneath is completely intact and unaffected—this is purely a minor cosmetic issue and does not impact functionality or optics.
