Description: > A beautiful, historically significant archival reproduction print titled "Mouth of the Uatoki [Huatoki] River." Originally sketched on-site in 1843 by early settler Emma Ancilla Wicksteed, this fascinating view documents the absolute infancy of the New Plymouth settlement. The print features sharp colonial-era keys detailing early pioneer homes (including Mr. Shaw, Mr. Scott, Mr. Lakeman) and the historic Devon Hotel.
?This piece was published in a limited celebratory run by the Friends of Taranaki Museum in 1990 for New Plymouth’s 150-year jubilee, featuring the official commemorative embossed blind-stamp in the lower-left corner.

Professionally framed behind glass in a sleek black vintage wood frame by the historic Waynes Gallery (Devon St East, New Plymouth) with the original label intact on reverse. The print and frame are in excellent, clean vintage condition, ready to hang.
